The bill of rights are known as negative rights. It declares what the government may NOT do. It’s not poorly written, it’s poorly understood.

I have been to two seminars at the Cook county medical examiner’s office for death investigation, and you see things most people shouldn’t ever see. I’ve seen autopsies for burn victims, gunshot victims, and plain ol natural deaths. People can get conditioned to just about anything, but that was definitely not my cup of tea. PS: one of those seminars was during the 1995 heat wave that was responsible for over 700 extra deaths that year. They had refrigerated trucks full of bodies in the parking lot.
