Happy to announce a new
#Flutter
app I built in collaboration with
@mthongvanh
!
HousePaintz!
An interior design app that allows you to experiment with different looks based on paint colors and styles.
Find it on the App Store today and give it a whirl!
Using ChatGPT to help you build
#Flutter
apps is literally cheating. Made a new app and have firebase auth, login, dashboard, drawer, etc all set up in 45 minutes.
With a M3 MacBook Pro with 36 GB I can have 4 android studio projects open, each running
#Flutter
apps on both Android and iOS emulators, and still zero lag. Amazing!
The company I work for is sending me a new laptop! 🙌🙌
2018 MBP i7 16gb => 2020 MBP M1 16gb
Will report back on how much
#Flutter
build times decrease. 😊
Thinking about how we could build
#Flutter
apps as a community and the % ownership of the app would be divided up among devs based on the number of tickets completed. Thoughts?
Gonna take a break from
#Flutter
and will try running Sky later - “An experimental, high-performance UI framework for mobile apps”
Who knows, it may have a future!
When I started dabbling with
#Flutter
back in 2019 I never thought it would be so life changing.
Because in 2021, I went from making 70 cold calls a day to writing code for a living.
Haven’t looked back since and will be forever grateful. 💙
Barriers to launching the first billion dollar
#Flutter
app:
$150 LLC filing fee
$100 Apple dev account
$40 Google dev account
Mac Computer
A lot of hard work
I love it when you get assigned a really difficult feature to build last minute and then you think wait… but we’re using
#Flutter
. It can probably be done.
I need to build at least 20 shitty
#Flutter
apps so then when I build a good one I can say “Never give up, it took me 21 tries before I got it right” 😂😂
Spend like 2 hours on an IDE issue before finding the solution posted on stack overflow by an intern from Uganda. The
#Flutter
community is so awesome.
