Bryan Hucabee, 60, of Flower Mound, has been charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in relation to the overnight incident on Termaine Drive. Additional charges are pending.

Over the weekend, Officer Cabello made a quick pit stop on Westminster Trail and cooled off with a refreshing glass of lemonade! Big thank you to these two for the sweet treat. It was delicious! 🍋
Our officers are having a lot of fun with all of the incredible donations for Santa Cops, however the program is still in need of toys for children under 12 years old! 🎁 The last day to donate is Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Yesterday the FMPD received a call of a residential burglary in progress on Windsor Drive. FMPD located the vehicle, shortly before it crashed. Both suspects were taken into custody following a foot pursuit. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.

Today we bid farewell to one of Flower Mound's Finest. Sgt. Cassandra Gaines retired after 27 years of distinguished service to Flower Mound. She will be missed, but we wish her the best as she closes this chapter and moves on to the next stage of her Law Enforcement career!🚓👮♀️

It's National Best Friends Day and you won't find two closer friends than 👮Officer Rodney Adame and his partner🐶 Ares. Officer Adame and Ares have been partners since 2019 and continue to build a bond like no other!
Not to be outdone by our less tenured officers on night shift, our more "seasoned" 1st Platoon Day Shift officers chronicled their busy day keeping icy FloMo safe and sound! 🥶❄🧊

Thanks to you, the FMPD Bike Unit raised over $1,500 in its Cook Children’s Medical Center “State Fair” fundraiser! Earlier this week, officers used the donations to purchase games & prizes for 50 of Cook Children’s long-term care patients to enjoy during next week's event.

Chief Kancel & the FMPD gathered on Tuesday to honor Officer Kevin Schmidt on his retirement. Officer Schmidt spent more than 26 years in law enforcement, w/ 21 of those years serving the Flower Mound community.
