Thank you @ECMWF for an afternoon of mutual presentations and opportunities to collaborate on the faced changing world of environmental modeling. We enjoyed their Friday weather analysis and they enjoyed our @NWS daily operations call.

@jamalas1971 @ECMWF There are some components of ML in the data assimilation and monitoring of observations, but the main model is still physically-based. On the other hand we have been running the AIFS, a ML data driven model in parallel for a few months, and continue to improve it
