You’re guessing and assuming WA couldn’t handle a breakout. The key fact is they haven’t had any breakouts and that = success. WA also handled cruise ships effectively unlike NSW.

Went for a sunset walk this evening along a coastal path and encountered about 40 other walkers/joggers/cyclists. No cops around but every single person was masked. Some might say we're overly compliant in Perth, I'd say were community-minded.

Thanks for clarifying the situation. Makes sense. I'm happy with Boehly et al. Ratcliffe shouldn't have delayed. If there's a last minute hitch with Boehly's group, Ratcliffe can jump to the front, but I doubt that will happen.

It's a sad state of affairs that GP surgeries around Perth are plastered with signage asking patients to refrain from abusing staff because they have to wear a mask. Staff at my clinic said they get abused regardless. Covid has really brought out the inner-moron in some people.
