AIRPORT SECRECY Do we have an airport operator now or not. We have carefully crafted words “Partnership with Munich”? What does that mean? Who is paying who? Is the taxpayer paying Munich or is Munich paying the taxpayer? What is going on? Why are we being told we do have an operator approved by the CAA when the words used actually imply we really don’t? As we speak the Labour Cabinet are meeting in secret and the press and the public are not allowed to know where or what they are discussing. This is unheard of. This is from a PM who promised transparency. Another broken promise. Yet this is a mirror of what’s happening here in Labour controlled Doncaster. Things are not right. Information is being withheld from the public on a massive scale. Questions are being dodged and answers being fudged. So many questions. There is a Scrutiny Committee meeting on Monday when Conservative Councillors will be asking questions yet again. We shall see if real scrutiny is allowed or not. Hopefully we will have some answers and find out if we do have an airport operator in place at present. One that is approved by the CAA. If not, planes will not be flying passengers to go on holiday this year, next year or any time soon. I have worked hard on this for over 2.5 years now. Day in. Day out. I won’t let up.
