@TheChaosWeeber It's half true. Canadian party whips do a good job at keeping people in line and the parliamentary system itself makes eccentric people less relevant. Likewise, the Supreme Court and Senate are not as big a deal. However, Canadian mayors and Premiers have alot more power.

@Aleczandxr If this is within a friend group the trick to getting somebody to watch/play something is to never give up and regularly bother them about it until it becomes an in-joke and they do it "ironically".

@kizuriley @YourVioletLight It is not even that people hate games with progressive or even leftist themes. Disco Elysium is pretty much considered a good game by everybody. People hate games clearly designed by boardroom votes and Tumblr lunatics who wished they were making films.
