It was a pleasure to discuss UK-Mongolia business and private sector support with MNCCI President, Mr.Tur-Od. UK will work with Mongolian businesses in the energy, education,infrastructure and financial services sectors.

I had an inspiring afternoon with international participants in the “Train the Trainers in Community Engagement for Conservation” funded by 🇬🇧. It is equipping practitioners with ethical, inclusive tools to protect iconic wildlife like the snow leopard & local communities.

The UK offers our deepest condolences for the passing of Mongolia’s first President, P. Ochirbat. He made a huge contribution to strengthening relations between our two countries and to building Mongolia’s democracy. We will remember him.

It was a great privilege to climb the Black Mountain of Wishes before dawn to submit prayers for the year ahead as the sun came up over East Gobi. And then to get energy from the Khamaryn Khiid Monastery and energy centre. A wonderful start to the year in beautiful #Mongolia.
