Today we had visitors from across the Trust with Mrs Rees. The teachers came from D'Arcy, Stourview and St Michael's. They were blown away by the learning happening in Class 1, the close reading session in Class 3, Phonics in Class 2 and the Continuous Provision in Nursery.

Mental Health Week at Finchingfield! Forest School for our Class 1 and 2. Forest school provides an immersive, child-led environment that allows children to explore their interests and experiment. Forest school fosters self-esteem and well being.

In Design and Technology this afternoon, Class 3 explored structures. Their overall project will be to make a pavilion structure. Today they looked at the best ways to make the basic structure, that will go together to make a pavilion.

Sue and Boo visited today! Sue and Boo are part of the Essex Therapy dogs and visit us every Thursday. This is a real highlight for our children here at Finchingfield!
