16GM might be too small to handle it, you could try on your gaming PC though.I have 128GB ram, which handles it well, i'm not sure what exact stats you would need. I bet a 32B model would work on your gaming computer

I’ve noticed this too, ChatGPT is much better at doing difficult programming tasks compared to Cursor IDE that uses the GPT-4 API. Cursor is great for small things, but ChatGPT can’t be beat for complex reasoning and system design.
It's actually kinda insane how much worse the GPT4 api is compared to chatGPT
Even system prompting the api with take a deep and think step by step isn't changing much
Pls fix, or make cheaper (It's only slightly better than 3.5 turbo at the moment)
