With the release of my latest FH, I’ve also created both a patreon and kofi, as people seem to be interested in supporting my future works. Just know I’ll never time-gate or paywall my final projects. They’re simply there for donation purposes, so nothing will be changed.

Wanted to do a poll as I’ve had ideas for what to work on next. Would you like to see some standalone rounds focusing on one character / series (I could put these out more frequently), or a new kind of endurance series? (Would be longer, but also take longer to make)

I started making beats 3 thinking “okay, people said beats 2 was hard, so let’s make 3 easier.” Though, now I feel more like - “is it really a good FH if people can beat it?” I’ve coincidentally made something way harder bc my editing skills have improved lol. Will be a feat

I usually keep effects simple and focus on camera stuff myself, though I think your fh round was very good with all of those effects! Imo the only real thing you need to consider is the ratio of ‘time spent’, to how much content you can put out. Find a balance of quality and time

Kind of. Overall, I’m letting scenes play out longer, i’m no longer syncing scenes to the beatbar 90-100% of the time, and the colors (red and blue) now indicate normal / hard beat sections. Also, each round is at least 5 minutes, so it gives more of an endurance feeling.

When life busyness isn’t in the way, I can really get stuff done fast. The new pc has definitely helped too. Yeah it seemed to make for a fine host. The character has good animations to work with. It’s still minimalistic, but is fs better than my beats 2 stuff. It’ll be out soon!

7 minutes shorter, but it has less time in loading screens and whatnot. I tried to keep it smallish. Only exporting with average 1080 bitrate but that’s what it gave me ig.

Three rounds finished, though I’ve been taking some time from pumping out rounds to design a new beat bar for it. I’d say I’m like 90% done with it. Will be back to making rounds after I’m happy with the design.

Cg wise, Ayakashi rumble, legend clover, maybe some unitia. Hentai wise, no clue yet. I’d want to try using newer stuff as to stop re-using the same stuff. But I’d likely be re-using at least a few I’ve used before. Isn’t like we get 10 great new animations every few months.

I swear my editing is somewhere in the middle. Effects wise I’m not the greatest lol, but I appreciate the praise either way! I’d also agree those are a few rounds I’m the happiest with from 2. Beats 3 should continue to raise my fh bar by a decent bit :) Steady improvements lol

Nice suggestions! I used the new elves as a extra round last time, so I could possibly use it in a proper round this time. Pandra I just finished cutting up actually, so that’ll be used for sure. Ochi seemed less plentiful with loops, but I’ll probably sift back through it.

Appreciate the feedback, and glad you enjoy the bar! I’ll certainly be continuing with the audio stuff as it’s something I find quite nice as well. Hopefully 3 will be everyone’s fav, as I’m using everything I’ve learned to make it even better imo :)

Well, in after effects, compositions are like tabs of your project. Higher composition fps = more frames. Since keyframes are linked to frames, it can generate keyframes from audio more accurately. Tips wise though, bastati’s tutorial videos. Simple, and teaches all of the basics

Every time I’ve seen ai interpolation used on hentai episodes or full fh’s, it’s always resulted in a lot of artifacting. I tend to leave it up to others if they wanna interpolate and share it.
While I do keep my beat-bars simplistic, I’ll try and keep the prettiness’ in mind!

The five rounds collectively are actually right on 20 mins currently, give or take some seconds. Not making them in order though, this 5th round I’ve finished is 6 minutes long, and it won’t end up being ‘round 5’ in the full fh.

I’ll likely be testing something like that after I release beats 3, setting up a place where people can tip and such. Nothing will ever be paywalled. I’ve had a decent few say they’d like to support if I made something like that, so we’ll see :)

A year later more or less (since beats 2). Not like I’ve spent the whole time working on 3, but this one should last ppl a little while lol. I‘ll work on smaller projects after this as well. No 4th is planned for now though-

I use after effects to make all of the graphics and the bar, and use a script to help with copy pasting the beat animation. I'm working on a new tutorial for FH creation, but my old one + some from other creators should still be up on the 'hmv mania' site

It’ll unfortunately stay that way for the rounds I’ve already made, but I should be able to correct it for the future rounds. I’ve found that it’s the beat tracks that cause that. Me not noticing accidental single frame shifts results in that.

Had to test out the new pc somehow- aside from games. Ty, though I feel a need to put out my new higher quality stuff. I was generating audio keyframes using low fps comps in AE before. But now my base beatbar comps are all like 200fps, so the keyframes are more accurate now.

They’ll def pump up the difficulty. Host won’t be too big, but likely more of a host than Beats 2 had. It’ll look nicer as well, ideally. Working on that very soon

This round specifically used “JK Bitch ni Shiboraretai”, but I’ll also be using “JK Fuuzoku Gakuensai” for Round 8. Not that these are “new”, but always more for future projects :]

Can’t guarantee anything- but I do believe 3 will overall be less intense if that makes sense. Less crazy fast sections, but longer rounds with more steady beats. It ‘should’ be easier than 2 was for most people.

Noted. I generally don’t create these with ona’ as the primary means of playing them in mind. It’s more of a secondary option, but that’s something I’ll try to consider more in the future.
A FH that’s difficult when played manually may be impossible when played with a toy, but a
