He's said in multiple interviews that he's a huge fan of Zelda. He's not gonna talk about his favorite game because then fans are gonna speculate like crazy, come on now.
Super Mario Sunshine - Limited-time release, included in a collection, $60
Skyward Sword HD - Simple uprez, new controls, high framerate, $60
Metroid Prime Remastered - New controls, remade visuals, best-looking Switch game, $40
Nintendo really said "We know you've been waiting a long time for this game, so while you wait, here's a game you've been waiting for for a LONGER time."
So if you're tired of Nintendo releasing low-effort $60 remasters, then you should buy this high-effort $40 masterpiece if you haven't already.

We've never stopped thinking about it. We still wish this art style will actually be used for a
#Zelda
game one day.
#OcarinaOfTimeHD
perhaps on a future Nintendo platform?
If you ever feel like Nintendo doesn't care about Metroid, remember that they scrapped almost 2 years worth of development on Prime 4 just because it didn't live up to their standards and then restarted it with Retro.
If that's not caring, I don't know what is.
According to a new rumor from Famiboard, Switch 2 has begun mass production in China.
The system is named "Switch 2" and there will be Black and White Joycons.
As always, take with a grain of salt until officially revealed by Nintendo.

This month marks 7 years since Metroid Prime 4's reveal. Since then, we've waited an entire console generation to even SEE what this game looks like, and still we know nothing.
We are owed a gameplay trailer this month.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5, 2.8, III + Re Mind (DLC) as well as the all-in-one Integrum Masterpiece all launch on Nintendo Switch via cloud on February 10th!
Starting today you'll be able to try out free playable demos of 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and III, we hope you have fun playing!
Metroid is my favorite game franchise of all time, and Nintendo used a quote from my Metroid Dread review in their advertising for the game.
Brb crying
Only 3 Direct trailers have cracked a million views on NoA's channel:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
2. Mario & Luigi: Brothership
3. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
For Skyward Sword HD, I HIGHLY recommend changing the Screen Display from Normal to Simple in the Options menu. Normal is on the left and simple is on the right.
I've heard many people try to downplay Metroid Prime Remastered's visuals by saying "It's still a GameCube game under there."
I don't even think THEY understand what they're saying.
‘FURIOSA’ is estimated to open with $31M domestically.
• Production budget was $168M
• Would be one of worst Memorial Day weekend openings in nearly 3 decades
People need to stop obsessing over Switch 2's specs because as we've seen from PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, power means nothing without a solid library of games.
Do I agree that Nintendo should make their older games more accessible on newer hardware?
Yes.
Do I also think that you should've bought this amazing game in 2017 in the first place?
Also yes.
Because Nintendo are so Nintendo, it’s impossible to buy a physical copy of Samus Returns right now. Pre owned copies are going on eBay for £50. Some of their games are so hard to play!
"But it was rebooted!"
And yet, they still announced it too early. The project clearly wasn't far along enough for Nintendo to have a solid opinion on it until a year and a half later.
Nintendo shouldn't go back to the old Zelda formula, but they should definitely take notes from it. The new games sacrificed a lot of what made Zelda special so they could feel more "open."
I can't stress this enough.
If you're not all caught up on the Metroid games by the time Metroid Dread comes out, PLAY IT ANYWAY.
Not knowing the full story won't affect your enjoyment of the game.
Hot Take: the remaster made the original obsolete for me. Aside from the drawback of beams not emitting light, the remaster PERFECTLY captures the essence of the OG and looks amazing in the process. It is the superior version.
Not to diss the other two (especially since I love them both), I just think it's nuts how Metroid Prime Remastered was only $40 and it looks like WAY more of an upgrade.
So today is my last day at GameXplain. I couldn't be more grateful for the past four years of working with an amazing team, making content about what we love.❤️ In the meantime, I will be returning to my personal YouTube channel if you want to subscribe:
