Livingston are an absolute disgrace, the most anti football performance I've ever seen from a team. Credit to Hearts we huffed and puffed and deserved the win, had we scored in the first half I'm convinced we'd have won that 5-0. Delighted for Vargas. Anyway roll on Sunday.

Hard to imagine having this poor an eye for talent and for the sport.
I could count on 1 hand the number of poor games Cammy Devlin has actually had in his time with Hearts. Because his main attributes aren’t “sexy” some hard of thinking folk seem to struggle to see them.
Cammy the conundrum. Yesterday, he was everything we’ve needed in a midfielder for years. Box to box, winning everything, taking on players, having shots. His passing was superb as well, always positive. If we could get that version more often, he’d play every week. 😍

The psychology of Celtic and Rangers fans seems bizarre but is simple to understand.
They exist in a league where they have enormous embedded financial advantage.There is almost no adversity to overcome. So they have to create mythical adversity to help make the story engaging.
The Jock Stein quote, “If you're good enough, the referee shouldn't matter” is always rolled out in times like these.

Judging by Rangers fans response they appear to think they were good last night. Fair enough. I thought they were desperately ordinary and a good Hearts team would have beaten them. Similarly a good Rangers team would have put 4 or 5 on Hearts. Neither happened for a reason.

Scott Robinson is to be admired. He’s extracting everything from the modest talent he has. Very few players who are forced to go part time at the stage in career he was at subsequently show the resilience and determination to re-establish in the full time ranks. Kudos to him.
