Update on Yeshiva Gedolah: Federation CJA and @CIJAinfo leadership have been engaged in discussions with our elected officials and the SPVM throughout the day. Our actions include:. 1. Calling for authorization to hire off-duty police to guard our Jewish schools and synagogues.

In the middle of the night, a bullet was fired at Azrieli Talmud Torah and Yeshiva Gedolah schools. No one was in either building and there are no injuries. Police investigators are on scene. Our Director of community security is in constant contact with the police.
