Has MJF’s schtick really become so predictable that people can write their own fake MJF promos and they actually sound 100% word-for-word like a promo he actually would do?
“Look everyone, it’s RicoSHIT. Ricochet my bad, sorry bud, I’m bad with names. But I guess your wife’s pretty good with them huh? Well after I beat your ass back to Boyle Heights I’ll have your wife screaming MY name, and Sam baby, I promise I can last longer than THREE MINUTES!”
VH1 had so many specials in the 2000’s that helped me learn more about popular music across decades.
100 Greatest Songs Of The 80’s/90’s, Greatest One-Hit Wonders, Greatest Artists Of All-Time, Greatest Rock, Metal, and Hip-Hop Songs; even those Awesomely Bad Songs specials.
Alexa Bliss was a possessed demon.
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn are witches.
Tatum Paxley is just an obsessive weirdo (in a charming way) with NO SUPERPOWERS WHATSOEVER!
These are three different gimmicks. Dave just saying shit.
Dave Meltzer on WWE NXT's Tatum Paxley:
"I hate that character. Hate it. It's just a waste of time.
"It sucked [with Alexa Bliss]. Then Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn did it, and it wasn't good with them either, and she's the worst out of all of them."
(Wrestling Observer Radio)
You know, for a singer who Twitter keeps trying to insist has “no impact” or that “nobody cares about anymore”, Taylor Swift sure knows how to prove otherwise by still pulling in amazing numbers. You don’t do THIS well in the streaming era unless you actually have impact.

sold over 500,000 units in its first three days of release in the US.
It has already earned the biggest sales week for any album this year.
In an era where everybody just streams music all day, Swifties still get up, go to the store, take the album (sometimes several albums even) off the rack, and put down money at the register to purchase it. Swiftness: The fandom who are keeping album-buying alive.
"It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us, but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it.
There; I posted Taylor's entire quote since y'all wanna re-contextualize shit.
I dunno why people think the photo on the right is proving a point. Dude was literally doing his commentary job {which he was great at} in the rain. It’s not like Samoa Joe standing outside in a poncho during an unexpected storm was an intentional creative choice on WWE’s part.
@enchantednaz
It’s just people trying to make up any excuse to keep from giving Taylor any kind of credit because they personally don’t vibe with her or her music and therefore refuse to even try and understand why anyone else does.

@HayleyKiyoko
on her experience in girl group ‘The Stunners’ with Tinashe: “I did it for experience. I learned a lot of what to do and what not to do. I wanted to be in control of my art. I always wanted to be in control and call the shots.”

"You'd think having been in 'Cats' was enough to dissuade Taylor Swift from acting in more movies."
Why would it? She wasn't the reason that movie was a mess; she was one of the better parts of it. The woman just needs a good overall script to work with, that's all.
Taylor does have black fans though.
I know; I’m one of them.
I feel like folks might consider us the exception to the rule in that regard, but the fact remains that while we may not be her main target audience, it’s not impossible for some black folks to get into her music.
Taylor Swift has ZERO appeal to the black community unlike the white pop stars before her.
Black people know several songs from Britney, Madonna, or even Gaga. I grew up in the era when Gwen Stefani, Fergie, and Nelly Furtado were getting spins on urban stations. What happened?
Taylor done gave Aaron and Jack credit for their work on folklore and evermore countless times. Hell, they all went on-stage and accepted the Grammy together in 4K. Where is your narrative coming from?
Remember when the Sears Tower was renamed 'Willis Tower' and most people didn't care and just kept calling it the Sears Tower? I feel like that might happen with this too.
Since Brenda Song is a topic of discussion right now, let's acknowledge her as a Disney legend.
Suite Life, Wendy Wu, Amphibia (which is a current Disney show), Get A Clue, College Road Trip, Stuck in the Suburbs, Phil of the Future. She earned a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Here’s what we NOT gon’ do: We will NOT trash-talk Taylor Swift to life up another artist.
Kacey Musgraves is great.
Taylor Swift is great.
There shall be NO sending anyone off the edge of a building when it comes to these two because they shall co-exist!
The problem is that people on here struggle to accept that music outside of their personal bubble of enjoyment can possibly be good; like if them or their friends don’t like it or know about it, they don’t consider it worthy of recognition.
There's no need to write 95 Theses as to why Taylor Swift is huge. Her music connects with a lot of people all over the world, like any other pop star. It's been like ten years. You all just need to accept this.
Birds Of Prey was not a bad movie.
The Marvels was not a bad movie.
… I haven’t seen Madame Web, so I can’t comment on that one.
Point is y’all constant hate for damn near any comic book movie or TV show with female leads is so bizarre.
Busta Rhymes has never won a VMA, which is baffling to me. He has some of the most creative and memorable music videos not just in hip-hop, but in music in-general, so it’s weird he’s never gotten a trophy from the award show that’s all about music videos.

OK, questions:
1) Why does a Kanye West dating site exist?
2) Why would Taylor Swift fans ever want to sign up for it in the first place?
3) How do they find out if a user is a Taylor Swift fan anyway? Is it on the questionnaire while making an account?

Like, yeah, I know he’s had other promos that deviate from this style and can dig more into his serious and even introspective side.
But yeah, a lot of his usual promos do feature material like tropes featured in the original tweet.

I've seen several tweets today of people claiming two celebrities are related who are not actually related, so I think that's the new running gag on Twitter now and I think this is another example of it.
WWE is hella mad at Sasha & Naomi. And instead of this being a wake-up call that Creative in the company needs to get better, they decided to very publicly put Sasha & Naomi on blast. Not a good move.

Taylor has officially reached that level singers like Beyoncé are at where her legacy is secure and she doesn’t really need chart hits anymore because her albums do well enough to make up for it.
they're not wrong. these are the main pop girls on the radio rn, stop asking about taylor she's way above everyone here & doesn't even make radio hits anymore
This clip has already become the new version of that Samoa Joe promo where he put AJ Styles, Mustafa Ali, Jeff Hardy, and Randy Orton on blast in that it gets posted on the timeline every other day now.
This might just be my personal bias talking, but the rollup Eve Torres won her first Divas Championship with was one of the coolest ways anybody won that title.
@knoxben1
Basically. For a while, part of their appeal was “Sick of Vince and his out-of-touch creative? Check us out! We the cool kids!”
Then Vince got dropped and WWE Creative got better, so that aspect of their appeal is basically gone now aside from a small pocket of anti-WWE folks.

I dunno why I always found it… fascinating, I guess is the word, that the tallest member of Fifth Harmony was the youngest member while the shortest member was the oldest.
Alicia Fox is such a charitable legend, helping put Ronda Rousey over like this. Foxxy's generosity in helping usher in the stars of tomorrow cannot be overlooked.

And maybe love is the reason why

@CarineK
It’s like people fail to realize that even without any sales gimmicks or whatever, a lot of people would still consume Taylor’s music. It’s not just the diehard fans.
Demi Lovato has been one of my favorite vocalists since her Disney Channel days and I love when she's recognized for that. I also love how open, honest, and raw she is about her journey in addition to refusing to be tied down to one genre.
OK, context time: Nia Jax was officially signed and WWE was trying to develop her into a monster heel at the time. Britt Baker has never been signed with WWE, so she was never gonna win that match. It was literally a “Monster heel squashes unsigned talent” showcase bout.
At least Taylor has fans who are invested enough in her art that they’re willing to get up and plop down the money to purchase multiple copies of her album.
Most acts in this era of streaming can’t even get their fans to get up and purchase ONE copy of their album.
It's not Taylor's fault her fans are THE single most dedicated fandom for any female pop star in the planet.
If y'alls faves had EVEN JUST AN INCH of the level of emotional leverage Taylor has, they'd SCRAMBLE to release 13+ deluxe albums.
Sadly your faves don't have the range.
Am I the only person who notices some fans’ distrust in WWE tends to make them take one bad (or in this case, corny when out-of-context) segment from a wrestler’s time in WWE and have that one moment define their entire WWE run, disregarding everything else they did there?
@CarineK
The acoustic parts are among the best parts of the show and the parts that most make you understand why people love Taylor as an artist so much.
But it's the flashier poppier performances that go viral out-of-context and lead to people reducing her to only those clips.
I don't really keep up with Blackpink much, so I had to ask earlier who was the one with the blue hair, and the answer I got was Rosé. I wanted to know because, well..... to answer your question, she did it for me.
@prilovesmtr
They don't have to de-activate. Just avoid saying something like that again. I mean, it's one thing to say that they don't like Taylor's music for their own reasons, but it's another thing to say people who like her who aren't white 'don't respect themselves'. That's beyond dumb.
@DaynerysSwift_
Twitter doesn’t seem to understand the concept of different artistic strengths making for different appeals, all of which can be acknowledged or appreciated.
She's not wrong. Y'all do be too quick to try to label somebody "the next this and that" and projecting standards and expectations onto them that possibly restricts their aim to establish their own identity.
"When you're especially a young woman in the industry, I think people are so quick to compare you to people or be like, 'Oh, she's the next this' ... and I just kind of wanna be me and do my own thing." —

@blackpopgirl
Their tweet basically makes it sound like people prefer simple, easy-to-digest lyrics instead of lyrics that have had careful effort and crafting put into them. In other words, fans of mainstream music don't expect much when it comes to lyrics, so why even try?
@blackpopgirl
Most fanbases don't forgive or forget slander toward their fave no matter how much the 'former hater' in question apologizes, but Swifties especially because this fandom and Taylor have been through so much shit that you understand why we're generally full of grudge-holders.
She’s not wrong. Naomi and Ember Moon were underbooked. They ruined Asuka up until TLC in December. They had Alicia Fox constantly take L’s. Sasha & Bayley’s whole year was a stretched out WTF moment. They haven’t let Zelina do much. WWE been struggling with WOC this year.
Nia Jax may not be popular among fans, but her tweet criticizing the promotion for not promoting its women of color for big moments in 2018 was both brave and important.
This is an area of improvement for WWE, including its promotional efforts, in 2019
@RiseFallNick
Poof from Fairly Oddparents gets way too much hate. I don't think he was a bad addition to the show at all. Sure, Sparky and Chloe were overkill on the "adding characters" front, but I didn't have a problem with Poof.
Explaining the appeal of Taylor Swift to people who don’t get it is starting to feel like explaining the appeal of pro wrestling to people who don’t get it, and as a fan of both, I feel like I’m starting to enter “You either get it or you don’t” territory.
I’m sick of Kim Kardashian. Can she please stop?
She ends her rant saying “nobody cares”. Obviously she does or she wouldn’t spend so many tweets talking about this. Taylor addressed the video too, but used it to redirect the conversation to something more important at least.
.
@KimKardashian
slams Taylor Swift after she spoke out about her leaked phone call with Kanye:
“I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.”
@britnope_
Adding to this are people claiming she doesn’t deserve it because she’s “overhyped” or “not talented” or “her music sucks”.
So basically, they don’t think she should win this award that is based on her legitimate accomplishments just because of their SUBJECTIVE opinion of her.
