@ellipsi_music I think more producers and artists should spend less time creating, And more time learning. There are plenty of outlets that have this info for free. Iâm glad I put my company, together at the time that I did. Seeing so many creatives, leave money on the table.

This is why, Producers still get money from streaming. Your song literally doesnât exist, Without the producer. This is also why , We must audit the licensing of artists songs/credits. If you buy a beat off beatstars, The very end of the contract says â writers share â
This is incorrect. Leased beats STILL generate publishing royalties. When a leased beat is used in a song that gets streams, sales, or radio play, mechanical and performance royalties still apply. The artist has a license, but the producer still owns the composition. Publishing splits should be clearly defined in licensing terms. Producers leasing beats should still register their works. Just because an artist leases your beat doesnât mean they own the publishingâyou do.
