There’s a lot to like about hazbin/helluva imo, I personally like the designs but ive been following vivziepop online since I was a pretty young kid and have always liked her style. Zoophobia is a nonsense half finished clusterfuck of a comic but the characters are fun

The music is mostly fantastic with a few major misses. Whenever either show tries to do a more pop esque or super sad track it’s usually terrible (both carmilla songs in hazbin are awful for instance) but the showtunes are great

The joke writing in helluva boss has been pretty hit or miss with character beats mostly being good, whereas hazbins comedy is great but it’s major character moments mostly fall flat for me

The throughline of self-improvement and the unjust hierarchy of heaven V.S. hell aren't cogent with each other unless in a later season Charlie (and the hotel at large) realize the very idea of needing to be redeemed and brought unto the light is formed of unjustified assumption
