John Fogerty - The Old Man Down The Road (Official Music Video) via @YouTube My dad would crank up this song on Saturday mornings… yelling for all of us to get up …. He would be making breakfast … giving mom a break … All 8 of us would drag ourselves to the table … complaining about having to get up on a Saturday .. Sitting down at a table with my siblings was always a treat … everyone calling each other names .. tongues being stuck out at each other… someone would always pull my hair making me look .. so that he could steal my food off my plate … everyone had to eat all that was on their plate … I would feed the dog that was sitting under the table… and of course everyone would be spilling all about things that happened all week at school … I was child #7 … the innocent one 😊 One Saturday … I flipped my brother off … my parents freaked… Where and why would you do such a thing they said … who taught you that lol I pretended like I didn’t know what it meant and blamed my brother … he does it all the time what does it mean mommy lol Oh gosh … another story on his pay back lol Happy Saturday Everyone!
