Amazing take. There is something very meaningful imo in a film that asks you to make an effort to actually look for/find the meaning/impact it’s trying to have. It builds the muscles of your brain and emotions. Sometimes you find things that you never expected to see.

Starting off the New Year with a new piece! Really glad I got the opportunity to write about Past Lives, one of the best films of last year. Thank you to Film Daze for giving this one a home ❤️
Our first essay of 2024 is on how Celine Song depicts masculinity in 'Past Lives' in such a vulnerable, tender, and mature way.

I wrote about my favorite scene in Shoplifters and the profound effect it had on me when I watched it. Really thankful for the opportunity to write about a movie I love so much ♥️
Hey, I’m in this!
Really honored that I got to contribute to this list. Thank you to
@diegoarguello66
for giving me the opportunity to write about a certain April Fools Game 😏, give it a read/share if you’re interested!

I love listening to music and eating good food and watching movies and tv shows and reading books and looking at paintings and smelling the flowers and sharing a laugh with a friend
I've been loving all the edits I've been seeing of this house but I feel like we aren't talking enough about the fact that this dude has 3 front doors for some reason??
One of my least-liked design elements of suburban design is this inaccessible landing I see in foyers.
Any creative solutions for "staging" it out there?
New piece by me : D I got the chance to write a short piece for Into The Spine about Chicory: A Colorful Tale and depictions of mental health. Shoutout to
@diegoarguello66
for the edits and the opportunity! Give it a read if you're interested ♥️
"You don’t have to be perfect for people to care about you. Chicory and I both know this now."
For this week's Fragments, Farouk Kannout (

I finished Pokémon Concierge last night and it's such a good show! I loved the stop motion animation and it was such a sweet and cute watch. I really love when people get to try new and fun things with the Pokémon property and I hope to see more stuff like this in the future.
Finished playing through Saltsea Chronicles, I really liked it! The core story + characters are great with thoughtful depictions of transformative justice in the aftermath of a world destroyed by capitalist greed and climate change, and the rebirth of society following that.
We're a few months out from the official 20th anniversary of the movie Oldboy but since it was in theaters again last month I just wanted to reshare this photo of Song Kang-ho visiting his pal Choi Min-sik on set
Taking someone to go see Dune 2 and every time I reach over to grab some popcorn saying “Don’t mind if I Dune!” really loudly for everyone in the theater to hear
Finished Ocean Vuong’s On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous yesterday. Really loved it! His prose + use of metaphor is really beautiful. I loved the way he explored themes of migration and war, especially as someone who also comes from an immigrant family
