This past fall we rescued and distributed millions of pounds of apples all around the DMV area- it was our biggest EVER food rescue operation. And we're still receiving pictures from so many orgs (from the Salvation Army to the Boys and Girls Club) that we sent apples to! 👩🌾❤️

Why should we care about building circular economies? Globally, we have an overabundance of resource production- we produce more food, plastic, wood etc than we know what to do with. The answer isn't to produce MORE, it's to get smarter about distributing what we already have
