As a batik maker myself, I’ve thought to make batik accessible to everyone especially for the new gen. For now, the only way I see is through printed batik. It's faster and easier to produce, there's less chances of mistakes, cheaper and it's easier to maintain.

The problem with our current Batik is that it's over exclusive.
The overall design hasn't changed much and made mainly for officials and the higher rankings. It didn't evolve and is not very available for everyone.
We are missing on a huge economical opportunity here.

One thing that I'm very very proud of my 4y/o daughter is that she's very appreciative and like to praise others. You just show a random stuff and she'll go "omg that's beautiful, you did that?". Lol. And if you dress up nicely she'll say "you look lovely today". Such an angle ❤️
