Just had a real rough day with Ruddager at the vet. His chest cavity is full of fluid and he has trouble breathing. They tried to drain it but his blood pressure plummeted. He has stabilized and is at home. Very weak and tired. Me too.
I have actually received messages from viewers saying that I should avoid politics, lest I alienate some of my viewership with my opinions. LOL
Let me be clear: our show is an UNSAFE PLACE for pro-gun, "pro-life", pro-fascist stooges. Please, feel ALIENATED by my opinions.
This is a tiny little shop in the park near our house. These two ojisan saw us looking at the fish they were eating. They beckoned us over an literally broker their own fish in half and gave it to us! This is us trying to figure iut what kind of fish it is. THIS IS WHERE WE LIVE!
Thank you for all the well wishes buddies. Losing Hugo is a kind of hurt I didn’t think we’d have to feel again so soon. It helps that you all knew him so well and can help us say goodbye. Here are some pictures of the loud little guy from the last year enjoying his Hugo life.
I can’t accept any take about Batman that doesn’t acknowledge that Adam West, Burt Ward, and Frank Gorshin had to wear snorkels off set on account of all the pussy they were drowning in.
This is a literal fucking fact. Look it up.
You guys have been incredible easing this pain by expressing love and remembering Ruddager.
Show me some pictures of your little buddies past or present and describe some of the quirks that made them so special.
The way that John worked so hard, to the very end, all while facing his own mortality, is bewildering and inspiring. Such a tenacious broadcaser. Such a fierce consumer advocate.
@Totalbiscuit
’s departure leaves a big shoes to be filled.
Is was a blood clot that dislodged. It paralyzed his back legs. It was basically the worst case scenario that We have been trying to avoid. We raced him to the hospital. I knew there was only one option and I made sure he did not suffer long. I am so sorry buddy.
Just hearing the news now. For the forseeable future we are boycotting all Blizzard products on our show. Please urge your favourite content creators to do the same. We can absolutely pressure Blizzard to reverse this horse shit.
His last day was spent in relative comfort. Hours and hours on my lap (like every other day, but this time with non stop massages). He got as many treats as he wanted. In the end we called him Rory Calhoun. Goodybye Rory.
I’m so proud of what we’ve all accomplished this insane few months. We’re spread and worn thin and feel ready to collapse but the future is so bright that it’s impossible to stop our steady trudge toward this new horizon. Our feet are heavy but our hearts are light.
A huge thank-you to everyone who has patiently stuck with us through this massive life change: a half year of landing, stabilizing, then recombobulating. It’s easy to let the negative sentiments drown out the positive ones some days, but damnit do we appreciate your words.
This terrifying man came to our house and terrorized my child while I was out buying Baily's.
He's gone and everyone is safe now.
Merry Christmas buddies!
Everyone is playing Far Cry, A Way Out, and as Brigitte in Overwatch and I have to sit here producing a show about old games nobody cares about any more.
For anyone wondering, we will begin the flight with the kitties for Tokyo, our new home, in 60 hours from this tweet. We will be landed on the other side of the Pacific 10 hours after that.
Had my first dream of Echo. She said her first word: "Echo." Over and over and over. I had made my first major parenting mistake by accidentally raising a Pokemon.
Hugo just stood at the top of the stairs to the basement and meowed. Something we have never seen before unless one of us was down there. He just meowed into the darkness twice then stood there. Ruddager would usually come up from the basement to watch us eat at this time of day.
Just waking up to what’s happening in Washington. I am sure it has been said but BLM protestors got the shit kicked out of them and tossed into unmarked vans just for putting their hands in the air.
I almost didn’t get this shot. I would have cried. This is why it is worth recording hours and hours, just to get a perfect moment. Shot in Nishi-Ogikubo’s izakaya ally.
Ten years ago in this day we went to our first PAX! It was a big deal for us at a very interesting turning point in our production. Ben and Kyle were the ones getting recognized, and then even barely but it was such a rush when it happened.
A few days ago we were shocked to see Hugo bathing Ruddager. It’s heartwarming if you ignore the fact that I had not accidentally splashed juice from a fish treat on Ruddager earlier.
Either way it’s cute to see Ruddager accept the psudo-affection when he would usually swat him.
Halloween has really started to take off in Japan. Just found this guy patrolling the streets near us. His Dad was wearing the boo on his head earlier on it looks like!
