My father (92) passed in the early hours of Christmas morning. The virus was the final straw that broke that man, bowed and bent as he was with age and other health issues. Going to miss my Dad. Let us hope that 2021 sees an end to Covid

There's an alternative? The police have been turned into an arm of social services. They know too little law, and have little life experience on being recruited these days. A degree is no guarantee of a good officer. A few years in the armed forces undoubtedly is.

that Britain does indeed still care about the Falklands. Some of us will keep reminding the politicians of it. Mr. Boyes seems to forget that, as a NSGT, the Falklanders have the rights to decide their own future. Not a decision for Boris or Britain.

Wrong. Not a war crime and that allegation was thrown out by courts in Argentina and Europe.
Belgrano was a legitimate target. Within the War Zone - as advised to Buenos Aires on April 24, 1982

Another land that the British have stolen is the Faulkland Island ( Las Malvinas). The Faulkland Islands are only 300 miles from Argentina mailand meanwhile the U.K is 8,000 miles away from the Faulkland Island. The British have stolen resources basically from many countries.

Think you'll find the name Falklands predates Malvinas by nearly a century.
Here's a chart from 1702.
The French name came into use around 1720 and it took another 60 years before Spanish tongues mangled it into Malvinas.
Fortunately, the Islanders know where they are

Argentina is an aggressive neighbour. Makes unfounded & unsustainable claims to the territory of others. Britain's international obligations require that Argentina is kept in check. Britain's obligation include the protection of its territories.
It's a disgrace that in these times a State spends billions to militarize a peace zone in violation of

resolutions & a territory under sovereignty dispute with Argentina. Stop being a pariah State & fulfill your international obligations to solve disputes by peaceful means.
