Although Elbridge Gerry devoted his life to public service, he's most remembered for giving life to an ugly political creature that still bears his name. For 2+ centuries voters have begged for better rules to ensure fair districts. Isn't it time to for an independent commission?

PA has no mechanisms to allow bills a vote, no matter how much public support they may have, if leaders are simply not interested. One committee chair, elected by less than 1% of PA voters, can block a bill for no reason at all.

#SuperBowlSunday! It's okay to root for your favorite team. It's also okay to root for your preferred party. It's NOT okay to rig the game so your team or party wins. In #redistricting that's called #gerrymandering. It's cheating, no matter who does it.

Repeated surveys show strong support for redistricting reform from all parties & all demographics. It's time for a PA independent redistricting commission.

No one knows who will control PA House or Senate in 2031. No one knows who will sit in the Governor’s office or hold PA Supreme Court majority. So no one knows who will have the final say in determining PA’s voting districts from 2031 & beyond if HB31/SB131 are not enacted soon.
