@ChuckFreedomOG @AuronMacintyre @EndWokeness There is a large body of writing about Viking warriors. Only tiny disputed bits suggest some Viking warriors (ie, those trained & expected to fight) included women. Spartan women were not warriors.

@JK_TheAlien These were steps on the road to today. The action girl trope first appeared in the early 1960s (eg, Dr. Kathy Gale in The Avengers, 1963): strong, independent, & feminine. Now we are at the end point: women who are in effect men in every way, but better.

@CPalmerEldritch @shane67772 @AuronMacintyre @EndWokeness Good example. IDF women soldiers were stationed on the Gaza border because it was believed safe. As you said, most ran or were captured when overrun in 10/23. None were killed, which tells what happened. As with the US in Iraq, the gov’t manufactured heroic stories about them.
