He is now violating his agreement, a treaty ratified by Congress. All his actions domestically and internationally are destructive.

Many States depend on raw materials from Canada to make industries function. Americans PAY the tariffs (taxes). It will spur inflation. Went up to 3.0 vs 1.8 here.

@gilmcgowan Trump’s whole implication that a trade imbalance is unfair or necessarily a bad thing is fraudulent. The U.S. population and economy is roughly 9x bigger. Naturally they’ll need to buy more to service their economy than Canada needs. These are voluntary buys by private entities.

He doesn’t care or attempt to be honest or accurate. He throws in numbers for affect. And his whole argument on trade and tariffs is fraudulent.
