@windbs2 Because they are stuck in 20°F Ohio weather in schools that don’t get a free week off next week, and think that just because I get a week off that I’m not working hard.

@windbs2 Data doesn’t show it helps students. It helps teachers not quit their jobs 5 years into their careers. Kids come back from these weeks cracked out and still in break mode, so it’s like the 1st day of school all over again. But the district wants to make sure it keeps its teachers

@windbs2 No one knows a single thing about me because I keep it so hidden. I smile and nod at everything and never make a comment for either side, so I keep everyone guessing. It’s the best way to go

@windbs2 I’ve only missed 3 days total (that I’ve already made up, so they no longer matter) and this next week I have off because my school district has a “mental break” week for teachers. And people are mad about it. Like sorry, maybe you should’ve applied for the program I’m in then 🤷‍♀️
