Exciting News! Today, we are honored to be recognized for our dedication to championing Gender and Equity Budgeting and for our Women in Leadership Advocacy. This prestigious award coincides with the launch of the #16DaysOfActivism campaign against Gender-Based Violence by the Ministry of Gender. FOWODE has been at the forefront of fighting Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), relentlessly advocating for a society where women are safe, empowered, and their rights upheld.

Through mentorship sessions & training on effective legislative engagement, we have strengthened women’s caucuses to jointly propose motions aimed at advancing gender equality and advocate for gender-responsive proposals to be included in policies, plans, and budgets. #FOWODEAT30

For over 30 years, we have led advocacy efforts for women to step into roles of strategic influence and have trained over 30,000 women leaders who are confidently advancing gender equality and shaping agendas, including within their spheres of influence. #FOWODEAT30
