@LouisStaples This is a giant leap from what @helenlewis actually wrote, and you’re taking it a direction that doesn’t exist in the article, twisting her story to mount an attack on her based on bias & invention. Journalists should hold themselves to higher standards; this is just malicious.

@JAMortram It’s amazing how bad it’s got. I had a print go missing for weeks, en-route to Germany, last year. A print I sent to the US (as part of #photoprintday , as it happens) made it in a week, though.

@JAMortram Having spent months covering unrest in Bujumbura, walking over to introduce myself to local police (showing press accred.) and being hauled in by state security services, locked up in a bloodstained cell for 24 hours, and then being deported. They still have my phone & camera.
