I found James Clear's book Atomic Habits very helpful. One needs a system around the goals . Intentionality driven by a system will lead to successful implementation of resolutions. Let us make 2024 better.
If you’ve been making New Year resolutions for the past 30 years and you’ve attained nothing, STOP.
Switch to Monthly or Quarterly (3 months) targets. If you're easily distracted in thoughts, switch to weekly targets. So that you regularly check your progress and re-focus.

In a typical day in our courts, 80% of the cases listed on the daily cause list do not proceed to a hearing for a variety of reasons including...the judge is sick, is on leave, is attending a workshop, has travelled overseas, took kids to school up country, was transferred from
