We stand with our brothers and sisters at the North Las Vegas Police Department as they mourn the heartbreaking loss of one of their own. Earlier today, this brave officer made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer’s family, friends, and colleagues during this devastating time. The law enforcement community is united in grief, and we will honor this hero’s service and dedication.

The flights to Reno affected my family joining me today. Thankfully, I had representation from Nancy who was my student @ccronnow the first year I created a student government. @Senatorspearman my mentor and my aunt & uncles from Carson also joined me. ❤️

One of my most successful leadership learnings has been to create solid plans & allow affected parties & subject matter experts to poke holes in plans to create stronger plans. This has created a culture of trust and has built understanding as others learn from others concerns.❤️
