Most important thing happened to me after I realised I am not Beleiver of Islam anymore, I am free of GUILT.
The guilt of not being good follower of Islam and its teachings. No matter how much I tried I couldn't be a perfect follower of Islam. That was a huge burden.

Leaving one Abrahamic cult for another doesn't make any sense.
I understand from article it is more of political identity rather than theological stance. The Article doesn't even talk about Jesus. Surprisingly.
And so I have come to realise that Russell and my atheist friends failed to see the wood for the trees. The wood is the civilisation built on the Judeo-Christian tradition; it is the story of the West, warts and all.

Translation: Don't blame Islam. It is perfect. My priority is to protect Islam from criticism. Nothing else matter to me.
