@AtlantisFell This thing about power scales, lowering characters to try to make your favorite one better, ignoring things and exaggerating others has become more intense than usual. and the current writing reminds me of a lot of bad comics that came out from 2013-2017

These types of changes are very common nowadays and although this seems fake. If they were to make these types of changes for Charles, would you disagree or what things do you think should not be changed about Charles?

When I started reading the X-Men comics, I thought Charles was British like in the movies The reason? He always smoked a pipe Don't ask me why but every time I see a character smoking Pipe something my brain thinks he's British, it's happened to me since I was little xp

@Bunneilly I swear, all about comics and au (I commented one a while ago) but I can't 🥲 2 months ago I tried to write about ultimate where Charles can't get out of Savage Island, Erik goes to look for him and forces to stay but I keep deleting it because I don't like it or it looks bad

If you want to start reading X-Men comics, I would recommend starting with Uncanny 1, although it can be a bit tedious at first. However, if you want something more modern, I recommend starting with New X-Men, which takes elements from the movies with the comics.

@cooldudebadtude @hnksloverr If you don't mind romantic entanglements, I recommend Morrison's New X-Men. If you don't know anything about X-Men, it's a great place to start and has my favorite versions of Emma, Jean, and Charles.

@Riceussy I can't, I've been reading comics for 15 years and when I started reading X-Men there wasn't this flock of Charles hater But there was hate towards Cyclops,they still hate him on Facebook I guess that's the bad thing about reading the material and drawing your own conclusions

One comment I say we had the best comics when Charles was dead. We literally had one of the worst drops in quality of X-Men comics compared to now, it wasn't until he was revived that we had Krakoa.
