Iām sad to say Iāll be a part of the Heraldās latest round of layoffs. @EverettHerald journalists are some of the very best, and weāve given everything to continue doing what we do. I had some of my best times covering sports for the last 18 months, and iāll miss it greatly š
Yesterday was an awful day for The Herald, as more than half the remaining editorial staff was laid off. Thank you to @EvannnW and @Coe_Aaron for all their hard work for the department. Unsure what this means for the sports section going forward:
