Insightful post on fasting by Daniel.
I've found that even super short fasts (e.g., skipping a meal once in a while that your belly really wants but your body doesn't need) are highly effective at refocusing us on Jesus Christ.
I personally only know 1 other person do this. I was fasting long before I was born again but fasting in the spirit is a different experience completely than fasting for detox/health reasons.
You shouldn't undertake this if it will become a source of pride and a stumbling
