Ireland need to know that, despite the result, this is 100% the step in the right direction in terms of their entries. Brooke was the best they’ve sent in years, with a fantastic performance that deserved to qualify 🇮🇪

“I’m sorry I can’t stop crying” bless Malena, she’s worked so hard for this. She was selected as Armenia’s representative in 2020 before they had to withdraw due to war. Now she’s gone and won the whole thing 🇦🇲

The absolute whiplash British Eurofans have felt over the past 6 months, from coming 2nd in May to finding out we’re hosting Eurovision in Liverpool next year. Mental
I’m just gonna put it out there before the UK song reveal that when Sam Ryder was announced last year, there was SO MUCH negativity, and many people didn’t believe in his chances until the rehearsals. So this is a reminder to take every opinion with a pinch of salt
Eurofans are being FED in these next few months
🇪🇪 Eesti Laul starts in November
🇦🇱 FiK in December
⭐️ JESC a week before Christmas
We love to see it ❤️

Just one thing I’d like to say - UK fans are allowed to feel happy that the contest could be held here. Of course we feel sad that given the circumstances it won’t be in Ukraine. But (in my lifetime) I have never seen a contest in my own country, so it is an exciting prospect.
The EBU seriously need to reconsider allowing Russia in the contest right now. I understand it’s not a priority, but if they disqualify Georgia in 2009 for speaking out against war, and Belarus last year, then what in the world are they doing this year about the conflict?
I have to say I’m living for the unspoken friendship that Ukraine and the UK now have in (J)ESC. Let’s exchange points every year, we’re the new Greece and Cyprus ❤️
It's so clear that Graham is tired of the contest, he's starting to sound like Terry. Maybe it's time for someone like Rylan to take over

One thing I will say about the 0 pointers last night, I’m really proud of how well they all took it. The cheers of support from the crowd were enough to make me tear up. None of them deserved it 💔
You have to applaud Georgia for sending entries to both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision that don’t follow a particular genre or pattern. They’re not afraid to send something different and I admire that about them 🇬🇪
I’ve just read that Lisa Andreas was allowed 2 weeks off school to do Eurovision, finished in 5th place as the youngest contestant that year, came back to school and passed all 10 of her GCSE exams 🤯

What fans and the public don’t realise is that Eurovision artists are actual PEOPLE. They can read your comments. And amongst the positive remarks, it’s the negative ones they tend to remember the most.
A few more facts:
🇫🇷 France are one of the most successful JESC countries, with 2 victories in three years, and their lowest placing was 6th in 2004
🇦🇲 Armenia now has FIVE 2nd places to their name, the most any country has received

I don’t think I will ever get over Norway winning the televote. I am beyond proud of them, they really pulled it off and placed 5th. I was in floods of tears 😭🇳🇴
