Steel Haze is Fromsoft's most well crafted NPC AC especially in regards to how well it plays with its home game mechanics.
Fast, Exceptional Movement, High En Regen, All Rounder Weapon Loadout
Damage OST chips are OFF here.
STEEL HAZE IS THE PERFECT FORM OF A PROTAG AC
A new ARMORED CORE saga awaits. Just one of fifteen epic stories from Secret Level, the new revolutionary gaming anthology series coming December 10 on Prime Video.
I know some people think Leda's fight in the Elden Ring DLC is excessive, but I personally LOVE it for referencing Miyazaki's last directed Armored Core game with its final mission being a 4 or 5 man gank of NPCS from the story.
In reality, YOU are their final boss.
I wonder what the oldest version of this pose can be dated back to. The memes of it today just make going back and seeing this pose so funny.
This is from Turn A Gundam back in 1999/2000
NEW: Marathon's creative direction has reportedly shifted under Ziegler's leadership, "moving away from custom player characters in favor of a selectable cast of heroes."

The damaging effects of Overwatch causing almost every shooter to shift to named Operator characters cannot be understated.
Why roleplay some named schmuk when you can be nameless soldier doing badass things?
I finally did it.
No damage taken fighting King, Chartreuse, and Raven. No minor richochets, 0 Damage.
Huge personal Armored Core 6 challenge of mine is now complete.
IT'S DONE
Intercept the Redguns - 0 Damage taken
It took 2000 Albanys and bad falls, but I got another big Armored Core 6 challenge in. Really tested my sanity for this one.
I hate trying to defend stuff but if you've been playing Halo Infinite since release you've been able to unlock 31 helmets for free compared to Reach's 21 for $60 as an example.
Less than 31 for event items, but that number will continue to increase. You could argue that you 1/2
When did it become more popular to nickel and dime every customization option? Who remembers Halo Reach on the 360 and how just by playing the game you can unlock every piece of armor?
Healer mech is pretty cool looking
Unironically think Mecha Break is looking like if Gundam Evolution was actually a mecha game instead of wearing a mecha skin.
Hope the monetization isn't too bad
Automated warfare has become the norm and live combatants considered barbaric. However contact with the Covenant has forced drastic measures such as the REVERB Project. The brightest brains placed into the most lethal combat frames to combine human spark and undaunting metal.
Unironically one of the things I'm looking forward to the most in a new Armored Core game is Fromsoft introducing/reintroducing new stats so I can finally return to seeing an AC's number sheet and go "Wtf am I looking at?"
Just that simple magic of not understanding anything
I know what the books and the man himself says, but I feel like when a character saves the universe multiple times over, I don't think they get to be described as just "average" among Spartans anymore.
So I’ve heard talks of a S6 ONI droid core.
If it actually ended up being a canon core I’d pop off so hard. We could get different builds for body types. (Hopefully) long term support with new armor.
I can abandon flesh, etc.
Gotta talk about how Extender in the S3 cinematic perfectly has the light reflect in one of its circle visor indents like an eye.
Cool factor just keeps going up
