I grew up going to church, I watched religious cartoons, etc. I'm Catholic and let me tell you, the teachings taught to me were that we were supposed to help those in need. We are not to pass judgment. People that say they believe in God and don't practice that...are liars.

Trump's government funding shutdown - Medicaid, cancer research, elementary schools - is cataclysmic by itself. But together with the pardon of the rioters, the firing of the IGs, etc. it's a brazen, transparent effort to seize power. Let's start acting like it.

This was resolved before the Trump administration issued their terror threat. Colombia has stopped millions of migrants from coming to the US. Trump’s strategy of antagonizing our allies is not smart policy—it just endangers decades of partnership with Colombia. We can’t act like this is some sort of 3D chess. This could’ve been handled with a simple phone call.

If you’re born in America, you’re an American. Period.

In our first Dads Caucus meeting of the year, we’re keeping our focus on families. We met with @Amy_Matsui from @nwlc to discuss the 2025 tax fight and how we can deliver real relief and build an economy that truly works for everyone.

I submitted my resignation last week…my 2 year term was already up 🤷‍♂️😅 I was honored to serve as co-chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. My fellow council members - unpaid volunteers like me - were hardworking, talented people who inspired me every day. I’m proud of what we accomplished on behalf of the American people…like a historic partnership between the White House and every major sports league to increase access to sports and health programs for kids. I hope @realdonaldtrump exercises his presidential authority so the Council can continue to advocate for fitness and good health for all Americans. These are bipartisan issues…nonpartisan issues. May God give you the wisdom, Mr. President, to put politics and name calling aside…and instead lift up the everyday people working to bring America together. Let’s build longer tables….
