It's a bit complicated. Best for input latency is no gsync no vsync, tested by LDAT system, the second best is GSYNC + VSYNC "Fast" w/ frames capped below monitor refresh rate. The rest are all pretty bad. its fidelity vs input lag basically your choice

They were both holding very tight angles that could win or lose the round, due to the 4:3 reduced fov and the fact that it's unlikely a CT will hold there and he thought he cleared it all kind of added to it.

It's an experimental beta realm with a small team vs a full release game with an entire AAA team that is currently at the end of it's expansion cycle as the team works on the new expansion. I'm constantly confused why people can't grasp this.

I'm still pretty awful at this but I haven't posted anything so enjoy my terrible photography. Figuring out the best way to handle the phone camera through experimentation, I need to buy/find better backdrops and angles but this was mostly just to mess around in Lightroom with.

Its 1 Valve has what they call "flatland development" no teams, no project managers any dev can work on w/e they want. The desks have wheels so they can relocate to that projects group. They hire devs who can thrive in this environment. It's why Valves development seems weird bc

The problem is people think Valve cares. They are a publisher platform that just happens to make games. They could shut down Dota/cs/tf2 servers tomorrow if they felt like it and it would barely dent their profit. They MIGHT notice if all case openings stop, maybe.

It would be really cool to see aim content that isn't focused on aim trainers. I know how stupid that sounds but how to aim differently in like CS/Val vs The Finals and how to train specifically for those types of aim would be cool.

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Genji was already dead.

Real talk, changing sens actually improved my aim at my starting sens. I think doing DMs or unrated at different sens genuinely helps improvement.

Some games have shown via patents to basically have losers queue or engagement optimized matchmaking . Idk if OW has it but I wouldn't put it passed Blizzard based on their shareholders reporting focusing on MAU

No cope most of the dev team is likely working on deadlock due to Valves "flatland" dev environment, We will probably see AC improved when it's worked on for Deadlock. As Deadlock dev wraps up we'll likely see more artists/devs disperse back to Dota/CS. Just my cope free take 🤷

I'm curious, does something like this look way too over edited? I stopped doing it in Lightroom back in the day because it felt off but never really got any feedback. This is a picture of the Cloud from the same set as the last one but just blasted in Lightroom.

Yeah CS2 movement feels fine tbh, as someone who plays both games every day it's 100% the shock of going from insanely easy val movement to models with momentum. Valorant models have 0 momentum in the engine they use so letting go of your key is as fast as tapping A/D to stop.

You won't be able to explain this, trust me, they either know or *luckily* don't. "just clean it" is never a simple solution w/ depression & in 15 years I haven't met a non-depressed person who fully understands why.

Yeah, I miss that time in CS tbh, just tons of fun with cool maps. Like fy_iceworld, aim_ak_colt, prodigy, Aztec, aim_headshot, de_rats, airstrip, backalley, chateau, the old CPL maps. Man i miss 1.6.
