Oats and vetches now 3 months in after the maize crop. Lots of leaf and a green colour to the fields. Thinking of grazing with weanlings in the spring, option 2 is zero graze to milker's, option 3 silage in early April. All views welcome.. #erthengineering @APSBioAg #soilbiology

Two week update on the oats and vetches that we set by the Erth engineering direct seeder after the maize crop was harvested. Very happy with the results to date. Field just got one single pass of the seeder and a roll. Hope to get an update pic every few weeks.

We were delighted to meet with @BeattieDoug and his colleagues from the UUP today. Doug was very interested in our work and receptive to our views on the NI Protocol. We firmly believe the Protocol is a positive thing for our business overall and must be made to work.
A really good meeting today with Dave McCoubry owner of @Erthengineering along with @JillMacauley & @ALewis_UUP Through hard work & innovation he has seen his business expand by 30% in 2yrs. To expand further he needs the end of the instability around the protocol. #ABetterNI
