@johnnyblu6 @elonmusk Read the last sentence. The selective outrage is what I find bullshit. People didn’t care about his salute, they hate Elon. When Kanye does it, it’s fine.

Let's talk about the raw, unvarnished truth of entrepreneurial life. It's not always glamorous, and it's certainly not easy. Here are some hard truths I've faced in my journey with Hawke Media: Constant Firefighting: Problems are a constant in business. Big or small, every company faces challenges. Embrace them as part of the journey. Long Hours, High Stakes: As the owner, the buck stops with you. Long hours, endless responsibility – that's the game. And it's not just about the business; it's about the impact on your personal life and well-being. Never-Ending Learning: The moment you think you've figured it all out is the moment you're in trouble. Stay humble, stay curious, and keep learning. Entrepreneurship is a path of constant challenges and learning. It's tough, but for those who are up for the challenge, it's incredibly rewarding.

Every year our YPO forum spends a few days together. Probably one of the most valuable contributions to improving my professional and personal life, this group has become so meaningful to me. Every month we meet for four hours and discuss the best and worst things happening in our professional, personal and family life. Hyper confidential, hyper impactful. This annual trip is a chance for us to spend some less structured time together, usually in a cool new place, scratching our adventure itch and deepening our bond. About a month ago we needed to pivot our trip and landed in Guatemala. I had no idea how incredible this country is. The people, the food, the scenery, the culture, we were all blown away. From staying at an estate converted to a hotel, to visiting a home that used to be a massive school, to hiking a volcano, to skipping 3 hours of traffic in a five minute helicopter ride, this was a crazy 48 hours, but it was so worth it.
