Through our tailored business training, start-up kits, and technical guidance provided in partnership with @mucobadi, youth groups are achieving incredible results: 💰 A poultry group earned 40M UGX in 6 months and is expanding. 🍅 A tomato farming group projects 60M UGX from their first harvest. 🐠 A young fish farmer is scaling up with thriving ponds and plans to double production. 🐝 A beekeeper is producing clear, premium honey, now in high demand. These initiatives don’t just create jobs—they transform lives and drive community growth. #EnablingChange

This week, the @BelgiumInUganda, @mofpedU, Belgian NGOs working in Uganda & national partners were on ground in Rwenzori to listen, learn & strengthen the sustainability of Belgium-funded programmes in Uganda. 📚 A brighter tomorrow begins today! 1,000 children in Busoga and Rwenzori will be heading back to school with renewed hope and excitement. Through a school fees subsidy across 20 government-aided schools, these young learners can now focus on their education without the weight of financial worries holding them back. This initiative is a lifeline for children to dream, learn, and thrive. Families can now prioritise their children’s future, knowing that the doors to education remain open. For these students, it’s not just about returning to school; it’s about reclaiming their right to learn, grow, and succeed. #EnablingChange

To improve quick access to healthcare in communities, we have provided 15 motorcycles to VSLA groups that have embraced saving for health in the Rwenzori region. The selected groups were among the best performing, with each contributing 20% to the purchase of the motorcycles. So far, 300 VSLA groups in Rwenzori have saved over 446,000,000 UGX for health. #EnablingChange
