This is not the standard. The presumption is access, not delayed access. While the right of access is not absolute, there need to be compelling reasons to sacrifice that right. None were given. And we were not given the chance to be heard.

For clarification, the defense exhibit was not admitted into evidence. Something has to be admitted into evidence for it to be displayed publicly. Defense counsel did not ask to admit the exhibit.
The New York court was putting up on the screen for all in the courtroom to see when the prosecution was presenting evidence. Now, the defense is in cross examination and not a single piece of evidence is being displayed in the same equal manner.
