Rooting out wasteful spending is popular… as long as it has the right spokesperson (blue no matter who)

1. energy bills are not going to be reduced in three weeks time. When the supply of energy is increased then the price will go down 2. Giving someone a “grant” to help them pay their rising energy costs is simply a temporary measure. Reducing the cost of energy is a long term solution
