It's a little disheartening to step on the scale and see it not change or even go UP, but then I realize my arms and legs are toning up - The actual fat is visibly shrinking, and my movements are much faster now. Beat Saber on hard was impossible before. Now it's just hard.

A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to do *at least* half an hour of Beat Saber *every day*.
Since then, I’ve dropped 10lbs. If this rate continues, I’ll have reached the weight I joined LMG at in 2017 by year’s end.

Apple should have taken a loss on Vision Pro IMO; I fear we’re looking at a promising new platform that’s dead on arrival at $3.5k. Tough to convince the general public it’s worth that when most have never used AR/VR to begin with. Hopefully a lower cost model emerges.

Minor update on exercise: Not much has happened with my weight over the past few weeks, though my waistline has shrunk considerably. It's getting to the point where I may need a new belt, and my jeans are about a size too large. Reaction time in VR has improved significantly.

One of the first "organized events" I took part in at LMG was a Blood Bowl tournament he put together. He was one of the drivers of our carpool, before the pandemic. I remember the Warhammer 40K audiobooks he would listen to, and his quirky taste in music. I wanted that again.

We've been trying to figure out what went wrong with our 4090 testing, looks like bench instability messed with settings - FFX upscaling was forcing on even though it was set to off (we checked). We scrubbed the config and re-ran the all the cards and will update the video ASAP
