WSE formal mentor program kicked off for AY21-22. 90+ student applicants & 53 student/alumni pairs 😅. Every single student who wasn’t able to participate in this program is given the opps. for mentorship through monthly dept. events, pop up programs, & dedicated workshops.

Just what I needed to see after a marathon day. REALLY want to highlight this for LDL heading into Fall. It’s going to be another weird semester…let’s take care of ourselves so we can show up for each other.
Resting is not a waste of time. It's an investment in well-being. Relaxing is not a sign of laziness. It's a source of energy. Breaks are not a distraction. They're a chance to refocus attention. Play is not a frivolous activity. It's a path to connection and creativity.

This was a helpful read…esp for those of us with littles who aren’t eligible for a vax & are living in this weird in-between space. My kid won’t wear a mask unless I do, but some jerk still tried to mask shame me in the store yesterday! 🙄🙄🙄
