To all my peers trying to figure out what our path in medicine will look like, I thought I would share some really good advice!
Make #career choices based on how you love to spend 🕰️ & where strengths lie What energizes you vs causes dread? When, with who do you feel most alive? What do you do that’s consistently a win vs a pain point? Enjoy 🤹🏼 or linearity? What’re you willing to sacrifice for?

Thanks for providing these great resources Dr Van Spall! The routine application of this will be critical in improving this skill as you mentioned. #CriticalAppraisal
Some excellent, practical tool kits to guide the #CriticalAppraisal of research. Use these routinely when you read a primary research article until the criteria become part of your critical thinking process. #ResearchMethods

@drjohnm @VPrasadMDMPH @drjohnm What is the best way to instill strong critical appraisal skills in medical trainees? Many of us want to be better at interpreting data to answer clinical questions. p.s. Other than listening/reading your podcasts/writing, which I do of course🙂🙏
