I hope it was more related to that than the alternative, which is a lack of understanding (studies show many healthcare providers don’t believe pain reports from people of color) or lack of empathy (not realizing how painful her scalp is now & how painful acetone on it will be).
They call considerate people who wear masks “sheeple”—I will gladly be a sheeple rather than a lemming, following the ass of another lemming over the cliff to death.

Whoa, what! I quit my job in April. Work, family, volunteer work, aging parents in lockdown, anxiety of keeping everyone safe…it was all together too much in a pandemic. Many work sites not understanding. Work and stress takes a physical toll. I hurt, literally. Hugs.

A friend had a “camping” sleepover and got each kiddo a small camping lantern instead of a gift bag of small, plastic things! Also cute: a pot w dirt and seeds to plant. Or craft supplies maybe? Hot chocolate mix in a mug kids can draw on w markers you then back in oven to set?

People who won’t wear masks (and wear them properly) on flights should be treated as if they have a knife or gun—arrested, fined, and banned for life from flying ALL airlines. It inconveniences and endangers everyone.

I was thinking back on my college experience and thinking I didn’t go out much (ie didn’t have that much fun) bc I didn’t have extra money to spend going out…whereas most of my friends went out a lot. Different experience, for sure. I was working 2 jobs plus full load of courses
Also, healthcare professionals getting infected creates staffing issues in hospitals, etc. and puts their families at risk, too. After the almost 2 yrs of working so hard and seeing more death than ever before.
