To everyone sending me death threats right now: you wouldn’t be saying a damn thing if a tornado was ravaging your home this afternoon. Lives are more important than 5 minutes of golf. I will continue to repeat that if and when we cut into programming to keep people safe.
#BREAKING
we are now expect to have 2 hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico early next week. This is a very rare, very dangerous situation for the entire Gulf Coast.
@cbs46
LADIES: If you spent Monday night watching the Bachelor instead of the National Championship game and you’re wondering why you haven’t gotten asked on that second date...
Well, that probably has a lot to do with it.
MY THOUGHTS ON BRAVES START TIME:
It looks pretty rainy through 7pm. After 8pm, it looks completely dry until 2/3am.
They’ll play, but it’ll be a night game.
@Braves
Emails like this, unfortunately, are something I’m very used to from working in this business. I do not back down in my responses. It’s 2019; having a personality and showing my shoulders on TV is not a crime.
To all the Tennessee fans talking smack to me right now
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Come on guys. 2007 was the last time you played in this game. Get off Twitter.
27 was a year of growth & fun. For the first time, I had off weekends. I got to help launch our 9pm newscast, and I covered my first hurricane.
28 will be even better! I will be on the 9&11pm newcasts, a big step up & a leadership role. Excited for what this year has in store.
When there is a tornado warning in a major metro county, we will ALWAYS cut into programming. Don’t tweet me asking me if I’m mad my station cut in. I’d be mad if they DIDN’T cut in.
Safety > one down of football
SUPER excited to announce that I’m partnering with the
@braves
as their pregame meteorologist! I’ll be posting home game forecasts to encourage y’all to get your butt to Suntrust Park 😊 You can find my forecasts on my instagram story, as well as both our twitter accounts

IM TIRED OF RACISM. Please unfollow me if you disagree with my retweets over the last day. I’m tired of your privileged responses. Being white is a PRIVILEGE in this country, and that in itself is absolutely disgusting.
For everyone asking me how
@KelsWingert
is doing - She’s back home in ATL with her fam. She’s obviously super bummed- 2nd time she’s been hit in the face & her wedding is in 3 weeks. But she’s STRONG. She’ll get through it & I know she appreciates all the prayers!
On the way out of Wilmington. This is what flash flooding looks like. This is by far the most scared I’ve been covering Florence. SR 74 is like this between Wilmington and Whiteville.

Hi guys- I’ve been a little MIA on social this week.
It was a REALLY hard week. Sometimes it feels like there’s just not a light at the end of the tunnel.
I’ve been working on creating that light. I just want to let you know that if you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
TGIF ❤️
Governor Brian Kemp is suing our mayor for her mask mandate. I try not to get political, but this is ABSURD. So many other things he could be doing to help Georgia’s people.
I will continue to wear a mask. If not for me, for my mother & grandmother who live here.
Had the best birthday weekend with friends & fam. Back on Wake up Atlanta feeling rested & rejuvenated!
See y’all bright & early ☺️ (Ps Dawgs fans - It’s my dads shirt 😉)
Hi guys. I’m sure you’ve heard about the tragic helicopter crash in Charlotte last week. I’m heading to
@WBTV_News
for the remainder of the week to help out on their PM shows as they pick up the pieces. I’ll be back on
@ATLNewsFirst
next Thursday.
Love on your people. ❤️
Amanda Davis has passed away. We are remembering her now on
@peachtreetv
... this has been a heartbreaking day. The Atlanta broadcast community & all her viewers over the past 20+ years are hurting tonight. Prayers for her family, and for healing.
Just a quick appreciation tweet for
@KelsWingert
&
@NatalieFFOX5
It’s so amazing to have women in this industry constantly support and motivate you. That’s what these two do. Love you guys!!
5 years at CBS46.
From a Super Bowl and a National Championship, to hurricanes and tornado outbreaks, this job has given me the opportunity to level up & experience things in a way I never thought possible.
Thankful for the growth, and to have amazing viewers like you!!
