Last week our research assistants @marlalalalaa and @ElisaWarmuth participated in KinderUni 👧🏻👦🏽 In two workshops they taught kids about psychological and neuroscientific research 🧠 and also carried out small experiments with them 🤩

Besides the experiment uses Holographic VR glasses, vibro-tactile feedback and the robotic arm was guided by the movement of my foot which was followed by cameras and then transferred to the arm. One of my fav experiments I took part in. Thanks to @next_roma :-)

This week at @next_roma: trying to map the representation of the right hand on the motor cortex through TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). As holding a TMS coil can get very exhausting, the goal is to use this data for an experiment where a robot holds the TMS coil.

Have you ever wondered why it is difficult to draw a line with your left hand and simultaneously draw a circle with right hand? This experiment we set up a few days ago looks at unimodal and bimodal movements and how they can be influenced through non-invasive brain stiumaltion.

Currently in the middle of a two-month internship in Rome at @next_roma . They investigate the interaction between the human nervous system and technology. Excited to be part of this. In the following weeks I will tweet a bit about the work they are doing. Pic: two robotic limbs.
